Advocates

The role of the Advocate is to assist HVIC clients prepare and present their case; through submission, to the Veterans' Review Board (VRB) or Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). The Advocate has a responsibility to the applicant to prepare and present their case using all available evidence, whilst ensuring that the VRB or AAT is not being mislead. Although, personal relationships may develop between the advocate and the client, it is important to note, that it is inappropriate for an advocate to act as a witness at the hearing by giving evidence in support of a case.

HVIC is represented by two Advocates:
Steve Hunter, and
Graeme Manson

Steve Hunter is Qualified to VRB and AAT, while Graeme is qualified to VRB.
